I have been baking gluten-free on a casual basis for approximately 3 years. Consider me when I enunciate that I have attempted only about every brand of Brown Rice Flour there is. Here is the skinny:
If you want a identical tender, melt in your utter baked good that is reminiscent of your wheat flour days, exercise Authentic Foods Brown Rice Flour. Their BRF is therefore fine that it is about silky. If you bake equally much equally I do, and want to exercise Authentic Foods BRF for everything, you should tone into getting a second job. That stuff is PRICEY.
If you don’t want to have a second job, Bob’s Red Mill BRF is the fashion to go, only your baked good will endure a bit due to the sandy, gritty texture of this flour. Through trial and error, you will notice that it works fine for some recipes, only others may seen a bit more gritty and crumbly. Processing this BRF in the Cuisinart or blender doesn’t look to help. So, I plan to beg Bob to choose a finer grind for the BRF his companionship produces. PLEASE. Jolly please? I would love you forever.
